Gabe Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Hey Matt, Thanks for posting that. I always enjoy your music (since Popa Chubby presented the NY City Blues) and this is a fine example again. The Talladega seems to have a somewhat odd color, I mean it doesn't look like amberburst. It sounds good. Was it custom made for you? How does it compare to your custom-made Newport? Gabe
Guest pirateflynn Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 A very skilled guitar player. Nice job!

mattsmith Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 The Talledega is an incredibly versatile guitar... it can go from tele twang to fat jazzbox tones.... the 4 way switch from front to back 1) both pickups series2) neck only3) both pickups parallel4) bridge onlybasically dark to bright, in stages!By the way Jol told me tortoise is the only stain color that does not "freeze" the 3 dimensional quality of quilt or flame... beautiful under lights!!
