Up for your consideration is a 2005 20th anniversary Paul Reed Smith McCarty with a 10 top, birds and case. If your looking for a mint instrument, please stop reading and look elsewhere. I am the second owner of this guitar. The first owner played it quite a bit and then put it in it's case for around a year. There are dings, rash, scratches and so on. The hardware was corroded pretty badly from sitting in it's case for so long but I polished it up as good as I could. It's still shows some pitting and oxidation but is a million times better. This is a players guitar. A solid 8 out of 10.

It plays perfect with very low action and sounds incredible. 5 feet away(or on the stage) this thing looks pretty mint, but I want to make clear all the cosmetic defects. The frets are excellent, and no issues with the neck or board. The birds and 10 top are stunning. The 10 top actually looks like a 10 top which is getting more rare everyday. The top is very clean with the exception of one chip and some pick scratches. It's a cherry burst that appears to be enhanced. Neck is wide fat, pickups are stock McCartys, set up for nines. Original dinged up case is included as well as the hang tag, truss rod wrench and 1/2 the warranty card. I put so much time on cleaning this up, I never planned on selling but I have many thousands of $ in guitars coming and I'm really cleaning house. NO TRADES! My ebay id is shesky60462.

I am honest to a fault and can provide a reference or 2 if needed. I am asking $1500 + actual shipping(contact for quote). Paypal is welcome but extra to cover fees. This is a rare chance to get a solid $4000 list, $3000 selling price guitar for half price with 100% of the playability and 80% of the looks. I have put the time into taking a few hundred pics to make sure there are no surprises, please look at all of them carefully. I have set the best into a slideshow(click the last pic). My camera tends to not focus unless a flash is used so the color differs pic to pic. The flash also tends to make the blemishes look more extreme than they really are. Feel free to ask questions or request more pics. Local deals(chicago land) are very welcome, come over and jam on this thing! You won't be disappointed! Please contact @ shesky60462@yahoo.com

thanks,

shesky

Thanks.

Hitting that link still takes me to my own photobucket page. Oh well. At 8.8 lbs, I'm going to have to restrain myself anyway. Stupid killer amazing deal here.

My McCarty may be my "best" sounding guitar.

Slide show works just fine for me. Killer guitar. Good luck with the sale.

Is the slideshow working for anyone?

How about this?

That worked, but not a good way to see the photos and take a good look at the dings and dents. From what I could see, I expected worse!

Isn't that a good thing? I know it hurts my bottom line but I'd rather have someone be pleasantly surprised than disappointed. If you check my feedback, it will verify that. There is nothing worse than a seller that does not describe properly. I have had it happen to me a few times and with the way ebay became about revenge negative feedback, I just chose to keep quiet. Like I said, I am honest to a fault. :D
