It has the original pickups and electronics, but it's in a soft case. It's a player and has dings, scratches, fretwear, and some slight oxidation on the bridge and tailpiece. I have illustrated the flaws in pictures that I can send to you in a ZIP file. It's a solid guitar with great tone and I will miss it. I just done got old and I don't play electric enough to justify keeping it.

$500 plus shipping of your choice. I prefer PayPal if you pay the fees, but I will also take a USPS Money Order.

Please PM me for pictures.

Thanks!

Sorry, I forgot to mention--no signs of Hameritis on this one, and I haven't compared it to anything so I am not sure about the neck carve on this model. I'm trying to post pictures but it's not working. Please contact me if you want pics, or if you want to make a reasonable offer.

Thanks,

Pops

$500, thats a good price.. do you have ref's?

Thanks for asking--there's this thread, in which Bloozguy gives me a nod:

If that's not enough you might PM him for more details.

Or you can check my cred on eBay, where I am user mrpapa2003. Here's an auction I am currently running:

how bad is the fretwear?

The fretwear is most noticable at the first to fifth frets, particularly on the high strings. There's wear up to the 14th fret on the G string, and light wear on the frets under all of the strings up to the 10th or 12th fret.

None of the wear has caused me any problems with intonation or fretting a note. It's just present, and I am trying to be totally up front about the guitar. It's been lovingly played and broken in. Or, lovingly jammed and rocked out, to be more accurate.

Hi, guys,

If my price is not right, I'm hoping that someone will make me a reasonable offer on this guitar. I'll gladly answer any other questions you might have.

Thanks,

Pops

Your price is fair enough.

If I didn't already have a 1992 Red P90 Special I would be on this one.

To elaborate on the fretwear, there are no dead spots on the fretboard and nothing frets out on a bend. There are not weird spots that catch the string or feel bad in any way. To be as specific as I possibly can, it's like this:

high E: 1-4 frets, a small divot; 5-9 frsts, some flattening; 10-21, nothing; 22nd, a small divot

B: 1-6 frets, a small divot; 7-10 frets, some flattening; 11-19, nothing; 20-22nd, a small divot

G: 1-10 frets, a small divot; 11-20 frets, some flattening; 21-22nd, a small divot

D: 1-6 frets, some flattening; 7-21, nothing; 22nd, a small divot

A: 1-6 frets, some flattening; 7-21, nothing; 22nd, a small divot

low E: 1-9 frets, some flattening; 10-22, nothing

When I say 'small divot' I mean a string-width indentation more significant than some flattening. When I say 'nothing' I mean no visible effect to some slight flattening or finish dulling on the frets.
