Monaco Elite Mahogany at Dave's Guitar

Nick put me on to this one, and it might have been mine except for the 'modern' neck carve.

Brian sent this description:

"That guitar is still available. The neck on this one is definitely modern. Really on the thin side especially has you go up the neck. Has a real shallow C shape to the neck and flattens out as you approach the body. If you have anymore questions please let me know."

thanks for headup! I was actually planning Monaco as my second Hamer, and this looks like a real candidate. In case they will accept shipping outside USA... I wonder does this guitar has any problems, as the price is really fantastic!

Judging by the way they list it I would guess it is new old stock they are trying to clear out. Mahogany Monaco's are a discontinued model.

Also reviewing the list it looks like Dave's has made up with Gibson. They just can't show the guitars on the web page.

It's definitely not NOS. The picture shows a bunch of dings along the body edge.

yeah, on the photos it looks guitar had its gig or two. I am working out with Dave shipping charge, as the current case is too long, if it won't work, I'll pass it and let you know. This is actually what I was looking for - a working gig Hamer. If I will buy new or mint one - I doubt it will ever make its way on stage

aaargh... The case is too big to ship over the pond. So guys this guitar is yours I have quite some photos of it, and it looks like it has had its share of gigs, but otherwise it looked perfectly cool...
