harry65 Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 i'm a friggin basket case, goin thru all kinds of gear and i just miss my daytona(sold to a close friend), i'm not a corksniffer, color is not too important, i would prefer a rosewood board but will certainly entertain maple, most important to me is fretwear and playability as this will be my main gigging axe, let me know what ya got, thanks and be cool everyone,harry...........................

Brooks Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 harry, try a GFS dual blade & alnicos. my pal HHB (ex HFCer) is a tone conissouir (sp?) yet he swears by GFS strat pups (esp the alnicos).
bruce919 Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 I put a set of GFS JIMI's in my Daytona. Gave me more output & warmed up the tone quite a bit. The stock pickup were too bright for me & at $60 a set you can't beat the price.
