Billiam Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 OK Mates, Many of you were kind enough to welcome me to the Hamer Fan Club family by way of my post entitled "Impulse Buy", in which I also wrote a review of this specific guitar: It's pretty minty (in addition to being just plain pretty). The only imperfection I can find anywhere on it is a slight string end scratch on the headstock veneer (see closeup). Yes. It was an impulse buy. But I have other "impulses" to pay for so it's up for grabs. $1,050 shipped and insured to lower 48. Hit me at williamyanes@mac.com Cheers!
fractal Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Great guitar! If I didn't already have this exact one, I'd be tempted.
Travis Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 These are awesome guitars. My jazzburst AK is killer. Someone needs to pick this up. Amazing tone and playability with a no-bling look.
Billiam Posted October 24, 2008 Author Posted October 24, 2008 + 1Come on, fellas! Someone MUST HAVE this guitar now!williamyanes@mac.com
Jakeboy Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 +1My AK jazzburst is the best guitar I've ever played...with a couple exceptions of vintage pieces...I think they are flippin' awesome!
veatch Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 My AK jazzburst is the best guitar I've ever played...with a couple exceptions of vintage pieces...I think they are flippin' awesome! It obviously depends on what i'm playing, but for general purpose, the P-90 AK is only surpassed by one guitar in the collection. And it happenens to be the Earthen Maple Studio - which happens to also be a Korina guitar with a Maple top...There's just something about Limba...
