Turdus Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Was in Best Buy (Fair Lakes) the other night.They were selling a new AC30CC2 for $839.They also had that funky looking, front mounted control model, 2-12" for $669.
Turdus Posted June 5, 2009 Author Posted June 5, 2009 Visited Best Buy tonight, and they have 2 new AC30s, clearance priced at $600 each. I'm surprised they have not sold them. I had one of these, and sold it for $750 used. Have these totally fallen out of fashion? At $600, I might pick one up, and throw it in the closet.

sirDaniel Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 since Vox went chinese their supply oversaturated demand. I have a AC50 classic plus head. Its a superb amp, bought it cheap and now its cheaper.If you want the vox tone, these do have it man. $600 for an AC30? why argue.

I REALLY don't need another amp, and the Boogie is infinitely more portable than the VOX. I am second-guessing my need for that much amp (the VOX), even though I'm a huge fan of them and that is a ridiculously good deal for one. I did get the "green light" to get the VOX ( ), just have to decide whether I need/want it at this point.
