zorrow Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I need to adjust the action on my sustainblocked guitars, but those tiny screws require a tiny Allen key I don't have. Any idea where to buy one or two? I've been waiting for too long and this is a tool I really need!
atquinn Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 You could get a multi-allen wrench tool. I have 2; one metric and one english. They're cheap and, most importantly, hard to lose -Austin
Ethan Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 yeah, i would grab one of those...i have two and there is an allen key on one that will adjust the saddles on my badass bridge on my p-bass, i couldnt see the one used to adjust your sustain block being any smaller than that one without being microscopic
sw686blue Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Ionel,You can find them at Reno or Rona in the quincaillerie section where they sell screws, bolts, nuts, etc...you can buy individual allen keys there instead of having to buy a whole set.Btw, I missed your call last night.Nick
silentman Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 If you have one for a strat bridge I believe they are the same size.
Punkavenger Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I was just looking for exactly the same thing ... I have three combo units and about 20 loose allen wrenches ... nothing small enough

I have three combo units and about 20 loose allen wrenches ... nothing small enough I was about to say so. You can find them at Reno or Rona in the quincaillerie section where they sell screws, bolts, nuts, etc...you can buy individual allen keys there instead of having to buy a whole set. Yeah, I know I can do that, but I would feel weird carrying a guitar into one of those places --I guess I'll have no choice though. Btw, I missed your call last night. Yes, I noticed! When will you come back from that weirdly-named place?

When will you come back from that weirdly-named place? I thought you were looking to buy. In that case, I should have one you can borrow. When I get back home, I'll look through my toolbox, I may even have some extras. If I do, I give you one and send the other to Mark. I'm getting back home Friday night. Give me a call on my cell tonight after 5:00 pm.
zorrow Posted May 20, 2009 Author Posted May 20, 2009 Shouldn't this conversation be via email/PM It will be via cell phone -- can't you read? -- just kidding. Thanks a lot!
