paults Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 I'm too fat with gigging guitars at the moment to do any projects, so I have a bunch of parts that need a good home. If any of the links are dead, just go to the pshamell photo album at photobucket.com to see them. (I did this on my phone, so some of them may be slightly wrong. Paypal and shipping included. Black locking sperzels. Very good condition. - On Holdhttp://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp135/pshamell/sperz1.jpghttp://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp135/pshamell/sperz2.jpgFender Lite Ash Stratocaster neck. The previous owner added an LSR Roller Nut (good idea - like a Strat Plus). He also changed the headstock shape (a dubious idea - like an Anderson?). Birdseye fingerboard, abalone inlays. This is a really nice neck, but I prefer rosewood fingerboards. $130 http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp135/p...l/fendneck1.jpg http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp135/p...l/fendneck2.jpghttp://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp135/p...l/fendneck3.jpghttp://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp135/p...l/fendneck4.jpghttp://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp135/p...l/fendneck5.jpgFloyd Rose. Uses normal ball end strings, and doesn't need the wrench. The strings pass through the fine tuning posts, and across the non-locking bridge. $25http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp135/pshamell/floyd1.jpghttp://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp135/pshamell/floyd2.jpgFender Custom Shop Floyd Rose Stratocaster pickguard SSS routed, dark red tortoise tri-layer. Some playing wear, but very shiny. $25.
DavidE Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Paul:Hold that set of Grovers for me for a few moments.....
Jakeboy Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Will that floyd work with a normal strat bridge route...?Let me know please.
paults Posted July 30, 2009 Author Posted July 30, 2009 Will that floyd work with a normal strat bridge route...?Let me know please. You would have to drill the body for the mounting posts. Not sure about the bridge rout. Try doing a google search for "floyd rose installation". That cavity is typically enlarged, but that may just be to allow the additional range.
mathman Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Thanks David for the tuners, You didn't have to but you did. Now I am thinking. These look better than the stock hamer turners on my XT Standard. I'm thinking of putting these on it and putting the XT's on the old V.I doubt you ever saw them but maybe Pault's would have an idea.Paults,Would you say these Grovers are better than the stock hamer import tuners?
