zorrow Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Got a power ball of these: http://nsdball.com/It is really addictive and it gives your arms and shoulders a hell of a workout. They also say it's good for musicians, but I don't know if that's true. However, I do know that I'm having a great time playing with it. Fun as hell!
hamerhead Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Looks interesting. And it really works? I'm having a bout of tendonitis in both elbows lately - it sucks - and I wonder if that would help or make it worse......
zorrow Posted August 7, 2009 Author Posted August 7, 2009 The ball does produce a lot of resistance and provides a hell of a workout for your wrists, forearms and shoulders, but I have no idea if it works as a therapeutic device. All I know is that I enjoy playing with it.

Hamerhack Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 In the 1980's, I had a thing like that called a "Dyna-Bee" ("Spins like a dynamo, hums like a bee" was the slogan, I think). They are cool! They are addictive...a friend and I were driving to Florida from NY in my '71 Pinto. We drove in shifts, and whoever was passenger was supposed to keep that thing going the whole trip!

Travis Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Gyroscopes are good for developing some strength, but more stamina in the fingers, hands, wrists and forearms. They're pretty popular at the chiropractic colleges for the students trying to strengthen their hands and fingers for adjusting purposes. I've messed around with them on occasion, and they certainly are addicting.
FlyNHawaiian Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I just bought one today, but it's the Dyna Flex Power Ball. Good stuff!http://www.dynaflexpro.com/store.php?crn=2...ion=show_detail
