WTB: really cheap bass

I'm inquiring for a friend who wants to learn how to play bass. He doesn't really want to spend more than $150, but he figures that if he goes for a used bass, he'll get a better quality one for cheaper.

Show me what you got for $150 or less!

I bought my fiancée, who's a cellist, a bass 'cos she wanted to learn it. From Zzounds, I think, an Ibanez medium-scale for $179. It plays perfectly well and I've even recorded with it.

I've Got an Ibanez bass with bag, used but in excellent condition for $150, also some great deals on slammer basses and samick basses for pretty close to $150 email me if interested.

Tell him to look for a Peavey Fury I picked one up for $60.00 at a second hand music shop. (Peavey USA is the best deal in USA used equipment) Great neck and it's a real thumper, and it's made in the USA
