specialk Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Good. I would of course pick a good one, take a look and tweak as needed. 72-hour approval.Hard to beat that kind of customer service, especially at that price point!
sirDaniel Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 I would never hesitate to buy anything from dave...
JohnnyB Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 My local pawn shop has a Sigma dreadnought at $249. Solid top. Have you checked the local pawnshops? Sigmas seem to fly under the radar where vintage Yamahas snag higher used prices. Sigmas are/were a Martin operation. MIJ w/solid tops, imported, inspected, set up, and distributed by Martin. Not to take anything away from Elduave's offer. "Select spruce" can work very well, and it's more weather-resistant.
murkat Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I'd 2 cents, The Alv's are great bang for the buck, sold alot back in the day, & built like tanks. Thats a great price from Dave, my only other suggestion is keep an eye out for a used Seagull, another geat acoustic with electric guitar type action and feel.
elduave Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Y'all don't have to walk on eggshells. It's all good. Cheers.
