The Shark Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 I purchased this guitar from Rockin' Robin in Houston. It has a killer flamed maple neck and maple top with a great rosewood slab-board. Lower top faded by heat in storage. Recently set-up and plays like a dream. Humbucker is tapped and tones are really great. Original case. The first $1,000 takes it. Get your shred on! No trades, please.
analogsystem Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 The poles on those pickups look like they are all big mags like SD's Quarter pounders. Is that humbucker 2 "true" single coils stuck together instead of having a bar magnet? I know a few companies that make those such as Rio Grande.Thats a cool shredder!
Devnor Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Reminds me of Anderson pickups. Bad ass guitar!
The Shark Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 No reasonable offer refused. Great guitar.
veatch Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Wish i had some funds left over... Can you describe the neck to this poor old (and broke) tire kicker? How thick, how wide, how flat? I'm really liking the Medley, or so far, at least the idea of one... Tanx.
The Shark Posted September 28, 2009 Author Posted September 28, 2009 1 11/16" nut width. The neck reminds me of many Jackson Soloists I've known and loved, but with a bit rounder contour. That's all I can tell you. If my Ian Anderson guitar wasn't ready in the next few weeks, I'd never sell it. Thanks.
The Shark Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 Fire sale price is $1,000. Anybody?
