You have to connect to the internet to authorize. The license is good for two computers. More than likely the codes on the drive are different that her new drive. I wish I had the cash. I'm not questioning your rep on this sale at all. More than likely the codes are stored in the drive as a file somewhere.Apple wil preinstall software and have it fully configured and ready to go. I've never bought adobe preconfigured though.

If one software license was purchased, it would be violating the licensing agreement/copyright to sell the extra drive with the software installed. And I don't mean to be derailing the OP's thread, I just want to make sure everyone is informed.Sort of off topic, but shouldn't who or what sold you the drive + software be expecting the extra drive to be shipped back? It would suck to sell the drive and then get a bill from the seller for not returning the original.
