"This is in canadian dollars. Even got the guy down to $500. Only thing stopping me is that its Korean. I got a nice US Hamer, and I play pro, so I dont want a "cheap" guitar, but I dont know much aboot the Korean imports. Can someone fill me in here?
hamerhead Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 With plenty of USA Hamers going for less than $500, I think he's way high. The Korean imports are good, but not THAT good.

chunst Posted August 13, 2005 Author Posted August 13, 2005 Dont forget, thats $500 CDN dollars, aboot 350-400 US dollars. Can you get me a US hamer at the same price? I'll take two if you can.
Hamer95USA Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 Hey chunst, For a couple of hundred dollars more, you can own a real nice Hamer USA guitars instead of the Korean version. I'd rather hang on to my money, save the cash and buy a good Hamer USA guitar than the MIK Hamer. I bought my '95 custom ordered Studio off of E-bay for around $500. Guitar George

Chunst,I'm a Canadian too (living in Montreal..Laval actually). $500 Canadian is approximately $400 USD. You will often find USA-made Hamers selling on this board anywhere from $350 to $700 US. Don't waste your money on Korean built guitars. Kurtsstuff has a USA cali for $350 if I remember correctly. You can not beat that price.Hold on to your money and keep your eyes open. Great stuff at great prices by great people that you can trust.Nick

Thanks guys for helping me make the right choice Update: Just after midnight, I drove by the address he gave and put a nice sized rock right through his sliding glass door! All in the name of the Hamer Fan Club!!
