thecajunboy Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 The G&L Discussion Page vanished without a trace Friday. Haven't heard much except some banter about it over at the Dudepit's G&L Bass Forum. My guess is that the hacknasty boys got a hold of it. Effin' Mother Effers.
cmatthes Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 That's just wrong. This kind of crap serves no purpose, does it? Hope they get things back up and running soon - with tougher defenses.
Jeff R Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Shit, and I was absolutely buried in their latest discussion about the pros versus cons of alnico versus ceramic yada yada and Ed Roman yada yada yada, and ehh...Sorry it crashed, but fuck what an absolutely boring place. I gave up on those sockfucks a while ago. That board is like watching paint dry.
cmatthes Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 I haven't been over there in a coon's age, but "Sockfucks" was enough to crack me up tonight! Anyone taking odds on the LP Forum or the Gear Page getting it next?
saxmanjack Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 OK, yeah, its boring, but a good place to sell a G&L. Just sold my ASAT '52 Classic from an ad there, so I guess I'll be keeping the Duotone Custom...
kizanski Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 ....and now the Les Paul Forum MB is down.Hmm....
BLuesBuster Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I've noticed the GbL page was down all weekend. If it's really hackfreaks playing, they should be hanged by their genitalia. OTOH that place is soooo boooring. I was a big fan around the turn of the century but in the last 4 years or so (I would guess since Brad gave it up) it has become pretty lame.
kurtsstuff Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Sockfucks???...I LOVE IT!!...Can I use it???
Guest teefus2 Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 what's going on? hfc, member pages, valvetech, everyone getting hacked. on the other hand, now i can't get "sockfuck" out of my head. thanks.
