JohnnyB Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I dont have a digital camera to post pictures but im describing the guitar just how it is,Thanks for looking...........You want $850 for a guitar without a pic and give a snippy reply because someone asks for one?For a guy with 81% of his HFC activity in the For Sale section, one would think he'd get a camera.
diablo175 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Having frequented several guitar forums over the last few years I've learned one irrefutable truth: You need to post pics with your classified. Members on other forums, IME, are not so polite as those on the HFC so, perhaps I was delivering my initial message with the brusque, ball-busting tone more commonly found on other sites. But please take this to heart, nitro: my experience here on the HFC has shown me that we all try to be civil and respectful with each other, even in cases of profound disagreement. It goes a long way to maintaining the camaraderie and fellowship this forum is renowned for. Lastly, consider that your trying to sell a guitar here. Your tone along with not posting photos does not help in that endeavor. Take that for what it's worth.BTW- had me one of the Prestige RG1550M's in poison pumpkin. Decent axe and with the upgraded pups, probably a really fine ax now. Good luck on the sale.

I'm normally the first to get my arse in my hands when I read emails or IMs in a way that the sender didn't intend for them to be read...Be nice ;-)B

Comments are generally meant in a helpful, friendly manner - constructive criticism is not the same as crapping on a for sale thread. Don't read anything into it. As Ben pointed out above, there is often something lost when words lighting up a computer monitor are substituted for direct human speech. Don't infer hostile or negative tone, and none will be inferred. This goes BOTH ways...It does help here, as anywhere on the 'net, to have pics, price and description on hand if you want to sell something. Most sellers assume that if you aren't motivated enough to manage those basic elements, you may be equally as motivated to ensure their satisfaction in an electronic transaction.
