RichRS6 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Not my cup of Tea (Ha!) but might be of interest to someone, price seems pretty good for a dealer.http://www.ebay.co.u...#ht_1577wt_1165
gorch Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 There was one that's been labeled twice as much and did not sell for months until I lost focus on it. This one looks pretty much like it.

This one looks pretty much like it.Thats what I thought, the last one I saw was a whole lot more money. Not sure what they're worth (what someones prepared to pay I guess!)Faded = low value. Not more than £400.Jeez you can't win.I thought they were all solid colours but then again I don't know too much about them apart from there weren't many made.BTW I have no connections to M.G. apart from I used to love the vintage guitar department upstairs in Leeds.
Andrew Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Only the white ones are solid colour. The red ones have fine maple tops under the wording. In perfect condition I would estimate a value of £700 max.. Faded knock off at least a third. They aren't rare at all in Hamer terms - at least 100 guitars and basses. I have a partial register online.See:http://www.buddlejagarden.co.uk/hamer/miller.htmhttp://www.buddlejagarden.co.uk/hamer/millreg.htm
RichRS6 Posted January 19, 2012 Author Posted January 19, 2012 Ahh I see (said the blind man). Not that I want one as they aren't (IMO) terribly attractive, never seen a Red one before, this is better looking than the white ones. For £400 quid I might be tempted, it does say make an offer.

Put 400 quit on the bench and see what it gets.
Jem Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 It plays OK and isn't in bad nick but even at half what they wanted for it before it isn't worth it. As Andrew said, it needs to be in the well under £500 range really, a bit like the guy who wanted £2700 for his rather knackered GM Special, even at his 'bargain' price of £1700 he's still at three times what informed people would pay.
serial Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I really like the Miller guitars. I've got a red/gold Miller and a MGD guitar. I'd gig with them more, but my main band is sponsored by Yuengling, so I can't use it for those gigs!
crunchee Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I'm surprised that they're not calling it the 'Peter Green' (yes, THAT Peter Green) model:http://www.hamerfanclub.com/miller.html
