Cleaning the gear closet ...

Dearest Vonnie was laid off recently and to make matters worse, her employer is trying to shaft her out of her last month's pay. So on top of the loss of income woes, we have to get a labor attorney because I want to hang that company's balls on my wall like a trophy deer head. So with that said, let's see if we can turn some of my rarely used gear into a legal retainer ...

* Boss Micro BR portable multi-track recorder. I originally bought this to capture great off-the-cuff song ideas. I am apparently either not that creative or not motivated to consistently capture my creativity. It's safe to call this unit "new in box" because I used it one weekend two years ago and it's sat in the box since. The cool bonus on this is that I likely didn't erase what I recorded that weekend, so you'll also be the legal owner of a few "great" Jeff R. rare outtakes because I don't know how to download music off this gadget, much less copyright what's on it. It has guitar amp sims and programmable drum tracks inside, and it fits in a guitar case compartment. Includes power adapter, all manuals and box candy too. Make me a fair offer.

* Alesis Quadraverb rackmount multi-effects unit from the late 80s-ish. Great for your band's PA, your rig's effects loop, etc. Tons of crap going on in this box. Includes the factory power adaptor. Good condition for its age and as far as I know, fully functional. I used it to set up a mini PA at a party this past weekend and it performed just fine. Make me a fair offer.

* Katanasound Venomous Snake fuzz/octavia pedal. This is a handmade booteek'ey pedal from a small company in Japan that pretty much nobody's heard of except for me (and now you). Great at both fuzz and octavia, stoopid expensive new and very hard to find in America, so here's your chance to score a great deal on a great pedal that none of your friends have. Make me a fair offer.

* TC Electronic Corona Chorus. I only use this when I've been listening to too much 80s Rush. It's been sitting on top of my amp since I got it, so it has never even been stepped on. Box, Toneprints adaptor cable, etc. Make me a fair offer.

* Teese RMC2 wah. It has individual knobs for "Q" (the quack point in the sweep), volume when the effect is engaged and a click rotary switch that sets the depth of the overall wah sweep. Sounds great and it's quite frankly very attractive in its metallic royal blue housing with white rubber footie grippy thing. If you like great wah pedals that look like a vintage Hot Wheels car, this is your baby. Make me a fair offer.

I don't have pictures of this stuff readily available but Google Images does if you need visuals. Too many great HFC transactions to list I might add.

Due to the circumstances I've cited, I haven't ruled out moving other pieces in my arsenal to make the rent, including my guitars and amps if it comes to that. I can reluctantly part with my Ovation USA 1778T Ultra, my EBMM honeyburst Axis, my Chap bass and/or my Ampeg bass combo, etc., due to the situation at hand. I've got pics of most of that stuff too. Drop me a PM if you're interested and we'll go from there.

Nothing tests my faith in mankind more than when lousy things happen to good people.

Texted you about the wah. Might be interested in having BBC back also.

I'll call you in a little while. The cool thing about BBC (in addition to her going home to you where she likely belongs) is that she no longer resides in a gig bag. Her new bed is a rectangular double-stitch spring-latch hardshell I harvested from a late 80s Valley Arts USA P-bass clone. Bulletproof.

No need for any of that gear right now. But just wanted to say sorry to hear about you situation - parting with that gear because you have to is a heartbreaker

Good luck "bagging" that trophy. They sound like real jerks.

Let the Hunt begin Jeff for a trophy you well deserve!
