RJoseph133 Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Graham Maby on bass...truly underrated and truly an incredible player...

jwhitcomb3 Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Saw the Night and Day tour in Syracuse NY. Very different arrangements of his earlier material, and I was impressed he performed his biggest hit at the time, "Is She Really Going Out With Him" a capella. I also remember during the encore of "I'm The Man" the balcony above us was oscillating up and down by about a foot. Besides Graham Maby, Joy Askew really stood out in his band.
Disturber Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I never really gave him much attention, but this thread started something. Great music. I'll put it on this weeks "listening at work chart". THANKS.
elduave Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 He starts his tour down the road from here. Would like to go but being unsure if the set and degree of rock gives me pause. Sorry, OF the set.
seeker Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 That song brings back pleasant memories. Was in a band with my bro as guitar/singer, and me on bass. One of our standards. Loved playing that song.
