got an old parts strat lying around with a Kahler, and I need to pull the strings for maintenance (polish frets, remove pickguard and change batteries etc). I checked up on the Kahler site, but my trem is an older version that does not have the setscrew through the frame behind the bridge to lock the bridge. I don't have any other Kahlers and haven't worked on this guitar for at least a decade, so I forgot if there was anything special that I need to do before removing all the strings (it's the first guitar that mrs stonge ever bought for me, so I'd prefer not to bugger it up lol). Thanks for any guidance anyone can provide.
