Steve Haynie Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Tracii Guns used a pair of them when he toured a couple of years ago. He might have been using the 2 x 12 amps. Those 36 Coupes sounded good at the local music store. They are great for hard rock or not-too-processed metal.
pesocaster Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I thought they sounded really cool when I tried them.... great overdrive and clean sounds....
carfish7 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I believe the guy who designed those also did the same for some of the Peavey Classic series rigs. I have heard good things.
bubs_42 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 He was Peaveys Designer, The revamped Classic's, XXX, ect. Sharp Cookie.
Hamer95USA Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 James Brown (not the Godfather of Soul) is the amp designer that you're talking about. I also know Bill Xavier from Kustom Amps. I have heard good things about the '36 Coupe, but haven't tried it yet.Guitar George
