Andrew Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1992-Hamer-USA-NAMM-Prototype-Model-EMGs-SEAFOAM-UNIQUE-GUITAR-/281075794840?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D6142493640352046798%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D2%26sd%3D370766771648%26Nice guitar, shame about the scratchplate which is a disgrace. The EMGs may be original as the four preamp holes are missing from the back plate that you see with the Duncans - don't know about the bridge humbucker, would need to see it without the scratchplate. Anyway I let the seller know the non-original part was quite an issue he should state.
Disturber Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 This definately does not look right. NAM guitar my ass. Beware. It looks like shit too. I wonder if it's been drilled out for that nasty EMG bucker.
crunchee Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Eccccch! MOTS (Mother Of Toilet Seat), indeed! The body color and the pickguard together look very '70's. And I don't mean that in a good way.
MCChris Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 "USA Hamers are increasing in value anyway since the workshop ceased production at the end of last year so this will be a great buy!"All manner of bullshit being flung about in that ad.
stratacus Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 This is the same T-62 that was mentioned in this thread in January. Here is the previous eBay listing.
Andrew Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 Quick turn-around and now in the UK.Clearly there are 'issues'!
stratacus Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Quick turn-around and now in the UK.Clearly there are 'issues'!I agree it was a quick flip. I'd blame the EMGs.
Jem Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Clearly there are 'issues'!What, apart from the fact that it's f'kin ugly ?
holLoWskull Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Wow it looks alot like mine (back when I had EMG's in it) only a bit more cobbled together (tilted rear humbucker!? extra tone knob hole in the pickguard!?). Obviously I don't think it's ugly...imitation is the greatest flattery after all
