Volume pedal recommendations?

Looking for a volume pedal with a reasonable taper; was just trying a friends' Ernie Ball and it seems that all the action is in the last 1/2 inch of travel. I'm playing an Esquire into either a Deluxe Reverb or Bassman LTD reissue, and looking for something with a better taper and not so much of an 'on/off' switch. What is everybody using? Any recommendations?

I like the Visual Sound pedal. The LED lights give a good visual on the sound level BEFORE you hit a note and the buffer can compensate for loss of highs in your cables.

I use the Roland FV-500 series with my guitar rig and my keyboard. They make low and high impedance versions. Works great with all my stuff. Tried the Visual Sound and it was really good. I like the actual pedal on the Roland. Fits my wide foot.

Mission's pedals seem to be very well made. I've had good luck with mine so far (Mission Engineering).
