cmatthes Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Got on Metro a little bleary-eyed this morning, but pulled out my morning DC paper and there's a nice big pic of Joe Perry slinging a Monaco III just inside. Nice little article about his soon-to-be-released solo project (Elduave and I got the skinny on that from tech-extraordinaire, Jim S. at NAMM!), and I'm eagerly anticipating that one hitting my CD player.Very cool anyway, and it did NOTHING to squelch my current Monaco 3 fixation!

The CBS orchestra was the backup band and Felicia had a blue Monaco 3 that got some tv face time. You'd be struggling to see that it was a Hamer though. No clear headstock shots that I saw.

Was just listening to the first JPP release, and I realized how much it sounds like mid to late 70's Ted Nugent. Has not aged well, but was cool for the times.

They typically mirror the regular Post though.I am still going to pick up the new JP, because apparently there's some old JPP stuff that never made a record in there somewhere.
