I need to see a pic of this one. I have an SL2H in natural. What's the difference (besides the pups)?

This is the mother of all soloists. Dead serious...this is the baddest shredder I have ever played. This was a total custom order for a guy I know in California. Check out the back of the guitar...they kept a thin line of mahogany on the back and the butt of the guitar so the guitar looks like a set neck. It isn't. It also has a Gibson LP style tilt neck, and a big fat neck which is very uncommon on a Soloist. Also...those pics don't do that top justice, it is absolutely stunning in person.

Jack..I love you like a brother. But you are a horses ass for selling this. You will never find its equal...never.

This guitar would cost you an insane amount of money to be made today. $2100 is a steal for a guitar of this quality. Why one of the Jackson collectors hasn't snatched this up is a mystery to me.

I appreciate the kind words fellas :-) Ya, as you all know, I can be a dolt at times :-) Well, sometimes you get in too deep and something has to move. Jack.

The fact that that has a fat neck makes it tempting. :P

Jack,

I can see you selling it to make money, but, are you just not liking this guitar anymore or what. This has been your pride and joy for a long time.

Actually, I'm going to help you out here.

I'm going to buy the guitar, but I'm using BadgerDave's money.

So, when Badger writes you the check, ship it to me.

How is the neck mounted the? Bolted on, then the back is glued on over it?

Yes, it is a Set Thru, a combination of Set Neck and Neck Thru, a very large upcharge in itself. This guitar has many special features, that if you weren`t looking close, you would miss them. As far as not liking it, I do, I love it, but I have a very-very expensive Custom Shop order in and can`t afford to have 2 expensive special guitars lying around. Not selling to make money at all, not that-that is bad, but with the economy and all, that isn`t going to happen. Congrats to Scooter and I  Jack.
