As the title says, anyone using some kind of easy connect/release connector in a Strat style body to easily switch out loaded pickguards?  I feel like there used to be something or I'd seen something for this, but of course can't find it now that I'm looking for it.

Plan to hardwire bridge ground line to output jack ground, to take that out of the quick connector equation.

I have good luck using TE/AMP "AMPMODU" connectors:

SIDE 1:

Pins:                    5-104505-7
2 Pin Housing:    103653-1
3 Pin Housing:    103653-2

SIDE 2:

Pins:                    1-104480-6
2 Pin Housing:    104257-1
3 Pin Housing:    104257-2

All of these part number scan be looked up at Digi-Key.

These pins are good for 22-26AWG wire.

The only downside is you would need a crimp tool to do things right. A universal one like this should work.

Thanks, I may have a crimp tool from some old projects.  Can't remember if I gave it to a friend who needed it.

To execute the idea above without the need for buying a tool, you could buy these and just splice them in.

Might go with this for the faster to implement option.

Great options, thanks, guys!
