Blue Centaura on Reverb (no affiliation)

This keeps popping up in my reverb feed- I've never seen that "blue burst" color on a Hamer before, refin? Priced high but looks clean, OFR? Somebody school me on what I'm looking at.

Wow, that's a cool color. The same dealer has a ss with quilt finish. Maybe a collector sells rare items?

That looks like the same one that AdmiralB originally scored (used) from a music store in Indiana for the back in the day "HFC approved price".  I'm pretty sure it is, and if so it's had more than two owners in the past 25 years (current owner, JeffR, Admiral B, and who knows who else in between...not that such minutia really matters unless someone truly has to have a guitar with two or less former owners).  I always thought that was a very attractive late in the model run Centaura.

Its so amusing how the history of these things is so well known by the community, and sellers conveniently will stick whatever old tripe they feel like doing on their listings - they MUST know they are bullshitting people.

That's a grail-level Centaura for me. Wish they'd made more in that configuration.
