Raw speaker shipping boxes/methods?

Despite being awash in guitars, basses, amps, pedals etc., all of which need to go, at present the things I seem to be tripping over the most are speakers, just raw speakers.  I need to clear some out, hopefully fob them off on you guys, but I've hit a problem.

When I get a speaker from Eminence, WGS, or whoever, they come in a nifty purpose designed package to keep them safe and warm during transit.  Naturally, I save boxes like that, but I've got more speakers than appropriate boxes.  I'm looking for a source for these or similar packing solutions.  I've cowboy engineered something on my own but I'm all ears if somebody knows of an off-the-shelf solution.

Hyelp?

Got nothing 'off the shelf' for ya, Tom. But I've received speakers that were set on a bag of expanding foam (inside a box) and when it cured it formed a really nice secure hold around the speaker.

Might be worth a try?

Dumpster dive at your local car audio shop (or any speaker store or musical instrument store, for that matter), or just go in and ask nicely for old boxes?
