Looks pretty minty.  It is early and has a reverse headstock which check off some boxes for me, but not my genre for its intended purpose.

Agree.  They usually melt down to $1200 - $1500 over time.  This is a particularly nice one though which may be worth keeping an eye on if someone is interested.

Whoa.  The guy wrote me a nice message and provided tracking.  It is due to arrive on Tues.  It still says I bought it.  We will see.  Maybe this is some hack to avoid taxes or I sign for an empty box.

I can't imagine the system would let you change that after a sale without issuing a refund.

This happened to me once.  The guy got a better offer "off" eBay and refunded my money.  Then, the guitar showed up for sale on Reverb about a month later.  The second seller told me what the first guy had done.  I reported to eBay and never heard a word.  I hope that's not the case with your guitar.

Well he is sending me 25 lbs of something.  He sounded legit and has good feedback (over 1900 all positive).  I am not overly concerned but anything can happen.  BTW...when I post a PSA here, it means one of YOU guys buy it.

It got here just fine.  It is like a brand new guitar.  This is my first Japanese Robin and I must say, I am impressed.  The fingerboard is thirsty and there were some random loose screws but I couldn't ask for more.
