I'd be happy to entertain any test drives, assuming of course that I get to try out the TT :) .

SM57 is sold. Now how about that lovely Goldtop???

Since nobody else said anything, I'll step up. For some reason, the Goldtop P90 Studio Customs have typically sold for well under what any of us would expect. I struggled to sell one for a long time (some will say it was the color of the pickup covers). I'd have to check, but it went for well under a grand. I then found another that was much newer (2002 I think) and much lighter in weight (many of these are on the heavy side) and I got it for what I sold my older one for.

You might want to check current selling prices on Ebay etc... , but I'm guessing they're still going for under a grand. Sometimes well under a grand. Worth every penny of what you're asking though.

In the words of the Dude: That's a bummer, man. I was hoping ebay prices were lower than usual...

If anyone is interested in the guitar for a lower price, I'll entertain offers.

For example, I sold a nice one with the case a couple of years ago for $675 shipped, that is all I could get. I think, and this is only speculation, people want flame or quilt tops on a whole. I loved the guitar, but couldn`t get with the P-90`s, but the guitar was very nice and heavy :-) Jack.

The P-90 goldtops are great guitars. You'll do better if you can put it back to stock with the original pickups, knobs, switchtip, etc. and sell the parts separately. My experience is that Hamer buyers won't pay extra for upgrades and will even pay less for Hamers with premium pickups unless the originals are included.

The features most players look for on this model are lighter than normal weight (under 9 lbs.) and a fat neck. If yours has either or both of these, let us know and you’ll get better offers.

Good luck.

Great points Dave, Original for 1, but I like them heavy and a fat neck. EMG makes P-90 sized 81`s and 85`s now for metal guys. Jack.

ahhh....you don't need a road bike....you'd rather trade it for an Artist Korina...

Must trade for Artist Korina... wait a sec...

I wish I were in trading position, but unless you have a sweet road bike up for trade, I can't do it.

As a response to Dave, I unfortunately don't have any of the original hardware or pickups. I picked it up from a guy right after he swapped everything out.
