I was until I found out who Bill Streeter was. The guy was a semi famous motorcycle painter way back when airbrushing motorcycles became popular. It looks really cool in the stand next some of my other Hamer guitars.

I see some great Hamers but lets not forget this priceless one.

The reunion blues bag previously belonged to Lorena Bobbitt, she was just practicing when she cut the straps off. I have two reunion blues cases, I know you hate ebay, but I found 2 with the Fender custom shop logo on them for about 130 each. Its a great bag and built like a tank. I would suggest taking the bag without the straps. If it were me, I would snatch that puppy up and have a local dry cleaner or tailor sew on new straps or D rings (like for SCUBA) and put on what ever strap you want. Its a great bag. Pieman, Yes its sold. We met in the middle and I bought it. Sea Foam or Surf Green, I happen to be partial to Green. 100s, 50s, 20s etc. I will post about when it shows up. If I don't like it, which I probably will, I like all Hamers in my collection, I'll sell it to y'all for $1500.00 and call it a special edition. One of One. Well, I send another offer and the seller has to decide. What the ...... I can loose this at the tables this weekend when I take my Mother to the casino for Mothers Day.

I just received a Ebay message from the seller. He's will to sell it to me for $850. if I make that offer. However, when I check Ebay, he has a counter offer pending with someone that he previously declined. I didn't think you could solicit and offer when you have one pending on Ebay, but, then again, I'm no expert on Ebay. Here is the seller's email to me. Thank you. If I don't sell it, maybe I will repost at a Buy it Now for $850 and you can purchase it? Or, if you can go to $850 I would sell it to you. Please remember, ebay is going to gouge 10% out of the price AND the shipping! I am in a bind and need the money, or I could wait for a higher price. I have been victimized by predatory lender that are trying to steal my home and land and we are in the final rounds (hopefully), which will include me pressing criminal charges. Because of the time I've had to spend doing my own legal leg work, I've not been able to work. You contribution would be to an excellent cause. I have dug up several cases where these same white collar criminals have done this to several homeowners and I have a meeting with the DA on monday. To everyone, Thank you for the information and advice. I declined the seller's offer. I think he is over priced on this guitar. Do I want it, hell yes. But tomorrow I will see another one and want it. Do I need it, hell no. My family says I have too many already and I keep building some each year. And, I just took delivery on a very sweet custom fbb Korina SG. He may or may not sell the guitar at his asking price or the price he will settle for. If he doesn't receive any acceptable offers, he may try to contact me. I generally do not sell or trade guitars, so resale is not that big of a deal, but, if I had to sell it, I would not want to take a bath on it. I'm looking at the T62 in this ebay add and I made an offer, not the asking price of 1100, but a few hundred less, and the owner has made a counter offer. I think my offer was fair based upon what I could see, and I would like your opinion on the guitar. It does have a matching headstock, but I'm not sure how much that affects the value. I asked for some additional info and the seller had the guitar checked out at a music store. He seems like a decent person. A fresh battery was put in and the electronics work. There is a slight buzz when playing without being plugged in. It only has 5 strings. ( And no, it was not made for Keith Richards) This could and probably is minor, but it may indicate something else. Any advice would be appreciated. I'm going to ask my local Luthier to look at the add later today, but you folks live and breath this stuff, so I value your opinion. How high should I go on this piece, or should I wait for another, or perhaps just save for a Landry Amp or Hamer Special in Korina? Thanks and much appreciated.
