  4. Thanks for contacting me about the GZ34/5AR4 tube - very interested in this.  How much are you asking?  Interested in any trades instead of cash?  Let's talk!

  5. Still adjusting to this new floormat...

  6. What's up with this new Forum hosting service?  About our third re-config in the past 2 yrs init?

  7. Inventor of the dunce cap prototype...

  8. Love Henry Vestine's two guitar solos, start about 4:30 mark. The fuzz tone is so dry and cool - especially the second solo where the fuzz is feeding back and getting half-gated/spitty at the same time (insert fist-pump icon here).
  9. Bought a llama with a bell on his neck and he hit his head - wound up with trauma llama ding dong.

  10. Some folks think too much and do too little...

  11. Gravitas, movado...

  12. WTF is Shlabtniks?? Extremely hard to find pickups wound by a crazed Eastern European madman/evil genius who is also noteworthy for discovering the lost chord and possibly inventing Kielbasa sausage.
  13. Let's see now: A Weber Silver Bell for my JMP's matching oversized 2X12 so I can take one of the Creambacks out and put it in my Phaez combo. New set of headphones for my Pono player and a Kimber Kable to connect it to my car's aux input. Some quality time with my wife and two sons home safely for the Holidays. Yeah, that oughta do it!!
  14. 61 years young today. Enjoy yer birfday man!!
  15. It all started for me in the late '70's after seeing so many pros putting DiMarzio's in their guitars. Although I was only playing Japanese LP copies at the time, I just had to try them, so got myself a set of DiMarzio PAF and Distortion pu's and put them in my Northern brand sunburst LP copy (the made for Canada mkt ones w/maple leaf fret markers). Think I also put Grovers on it too, IIRC. Wish I had that guitar back actually - was a pretty decent sounding/playing LP actually. I don't always change pu's however - only if I feel the end result will justify the cost/bother of swapping out.
  16. That's some hard work. I've never had to change my shirt once, let alone four times. ^^^ That made me laugh! Reminded me of my youngest son when he was about 5-6 - had to take his shirt off to have a crap every single time. Not sure why, but it was f'n hilarious...
  17. OUCH!! Do feel your pain there... '69 Plexi for a grand - what was the catch? Fire sale? Someone didn't know what they had? Beater?....
  18. ^^^ Nice! A good Artist can cover a lot of ground - very versatile and looks classy to boot.
  19. I've always used the Korg clip-ons. Was so impressed by the first one or two I bought, I went back and bought enough for each guitar/bass case my son and I have so we're never lacking one when we need it. Threw a spare battery in there as well as they're just wafer-sized...
  20. Fit to be tied...

  21. He has the same bloated features that Gene does! Too much brisket, booze and soft living...
  22. Thanks for getting the weight, but that takes me outta the running unfortunately. GLWTS all the same!
  23. Last Standard had to have been in the 9.5+ range. Aging shoulder could only handle it for one set and that was it... If this one's reasonable, I might dive back in the Standard "pool" once again.
