  9. Because I am the FUCKING MAN, that's why. Damn Euroweenies....... (I love you, Matthias, just don't tell anyone...) Why Eddie WAS the man...
  10. MC5 - Motorcity Is Burning (Beat Club, German TV 1972) Cool band if you don't watch them...
  11. LOL, redux. It didn't make the guitar worth any more or less, it allowed the market to decide what it was worth. Considering your oft-stated stance on value v. price I find your comment somewhat ironic. When potential customers try to chisel you down another 5% because the guy down the highway will do that price, remember what you just typed. Thanks for the thought. Two different situations, though. Think about it.
  12. LOL...that 'dipshit' was me. IIRC the BIN was something like $850 and it wound up going for something like $2200...it was three or four years ago, and not a particularly spectacular or clean example. I bet the seller was happy to get what it was worth. Wouldn't you, as the seller, have been? But your actions killed anyone here's chance of getting it for $850. It made the guitar MUCH more expensive, probably causing the buyer to have to dig much deeper. Wouldn't that piss you off, as a prospective buyer?
  13. How are yours doing? Healed up now?
  14. Glues have gotten better, cutting tools have gotten better, measuring devices have gotten better(can you tell what I do for a living?). The science of building guitars has gotten better, but the available materials have not. My jokes get better. My appearance, nope.
  15. Less than $225, it has a repaired neck joint.
  16. With you, Gary.
  17. I've littered a few rugs.
  18. LOCAL MOM AND POP STORES SUCK!!! LONG LIVE GC!!! That's not funny, Canadian.
  19. Yeah, well it's your shitty attitude, you friggin' PRICK!!!! LOL The pics that he sent ME because I am a darling to deal with, unlike Jon the Prick..... It's never had Grovers, but it HAS had Schaller M6 and the current M6mini tuners. It also had Junior tuners! NONE of which show up on the earliest Sunbursts that I have owned. The logo is squirrelly, and the back of the neck shows one helluva crack repair, unless it's grain(which I doubt). I dunno......
  20. I have an email from the seller, he's sending me pot codes. The M6mini tuners look stupid on there, and the serial number was obliterated when the head was reshot, I bet.
  21. Conrad kicks ass. That's a helluva commute.
  22. If it had a REAL neck on it, I would have stolen it by now.
