I couldn’t see the top looking that good from the blank, awesome job on the finish!

If the neck pickup is also single wire, no problem. If not, look it up the information from SD. The hot is on the pot terminals, ground on the pot body or a wire/terminal connected to ground. Some find out of phase wiring sounds cool in the middle switch position. Otherwise, it's just preference mixing pickups. @Jeff R or @JGravelin here can wind something for you if you are undecided about production PUs

Mahogany is the bomb, lots of nice guitars in this thread. I recall an article years ago where PRS said there is nothing quite like a solid mahogany body with a glued-in neck. My first decent guitar was a Melody Maker. Also had a 1964 SG with Maestro Vibrato in the late 70s

If it is hot, I'll wear shorts if I want to. Especially outside. That is one of my rock n roll rebellious items 😆 -
The Les Paul sounds a bit fatter, the highs are a little less pronounced. The bridge PU is a slightly hot Gravelin and the neck is a PAF style Gravelin. Les Paul neck is not as chunky (it’s a 1973 Deluxe) and the guitar is heavy. I favor the Les Paul to the Studio Custom overall, perhaps because I’ve had it since it was new.

Seems odd, I have not had issues like this, but I order parts and take repairs to them in person. I think all wiring harnesses are built to order. They are small and may have a number of custom guitar orders in process taking up resources. Still, should communicate with customers about timing and delays. Roy may look at this board and have a comment.

I've been using a Player Tele almost exclusively for gigs the past few years. Covers all the styles from country to pop to rock and you don't have to worry about dings and wear. Don't have to hassle switching guitars in the middle of a set. Last night I took my 2002 Studio Custom and played it the last set. Maybe not as good for country tones but still very good. There were several highlights that will make me take it out more often. The appearance is fantastic. The vintage natural flame top looked great under the light, much more dynamic than at home. Last song was a rock inspired House of the Rising Sun jam. The woody tone from the neck pickup was great for the first lead, not available on a standard Tele. Second lead was on the bridge pickup with a wah, that tone really stood out. Pickups are @JGravelin Ultimates with UOA5 magnets and slight tweaks, most excellent. I'm at the point where I feel guilty having nice guitars and not playing them. Not worried about honest light wear from playing. The more you play them the better they sound and play, I'll still use the Tele most due to the song mix of the band. The Hamer and Les Paul will be getting more playing time.

Recently got a JJ 6L6 pair from Eurotubes for my Mark IIA and they are sounding good to me. Normally used Mesa tubes and all were fine to my ears. Could be worth checking out the various STR versions. They are manufactured by few remaining Russian, Chinese and Slovakian companies as everyone else and are tested and matched. The website has some descriptions and there are decoders on the web, @tbonesullivan provided the following - “There are some smaller tube factories in central / eastern Europe as well as some in China. Psvane is one in china that comes to mind. Unfortunately the Shuguang factory that really worked with Tube Amp Doctor and others to make some great tubes has been shut down since a fire, and I would guess will not be coming back. The tube factories still in large scale production are just JJ electronics in Czechia and the Reflektor / X-pul plant in Saratov, Russia. Both of these make multiple variants of the 6L6 tube types. Mesa currently has the following types: 6L6 STR 443 - These are the same as the Sovtek 6L6WXT and Electro Harmonix 6L6GC. I think these are actually a variant of the Russian 3PS tube. 6L6 STR 445 - These are JJ 6L6GC tubes. A lot of people like these for various uses. I think they are "rounder" sounding than the Russian tubes. 6L6 STR 441 - These are Russian, and most people believe that these are the Tung-Sol 6L6GC-STR tubes, which are part of their reissue series. 6L6 STR 448 - These are, I believe, the same as the TAD Redbase, and are made by PSvane in China. I've heard VERY good things about these tubes. So, you can get these tubes elsewhere, however you need to make sure you can get a pair that will bias correctly in a Mesa, which probably came stock with the STR 415 tubes which were I believe Sylvania. Ruby Tubes and Groove Tubes may also market many of these same tubes. Groove tubes are rated, and the Mesa rating system covers groove tubes ratings from 4 to 6.” My opinion, unless you really push output tubes, you may not hear much difference between brands. 15 watts of output power is plenty loud through an efficient speaker.

Yeah, is the top curly maple with a similar tint or something we haven’t seen? Maybe a jet black ebony freeboard? -

The wet hydrogen firing process for some parts can lead to a big kaboom if not monitored closely. Kinda like the Hindenburg.
