Steve, Glad to hear that your wife is on the mend. I've had my share of loved ones suffering from various illnesses recently and I know what you're going through. Hang tough and have faith. If I had anything that was realistic to offer up as a trade, I'd be pestering you incessantly. However, the two guitars I currently own are non-Hamer import shredders. Do let me know if you change your mind and want to sell it. I may be able to sweet-talk my wife into it, you never know.

Maybe I can talk the wife into heading up to the Muse for one of the famous Sunday evening jams sometime. I gotta find some outlet . . . the music bug is crawling up my spine.

Stupid Prom! Instead of drinking beer, hanging out, playing and listening to music, I get to spend my evening in a suit and tie with a bunch of hormone crazed, obnoxious teens. Grrrrrr!

Some kids want me to play songs with them at our upcoming school variety show. One group wants to do the Goldfinger version of 99 Red Balloons, and I've got that covered. However, another group wants to do a song called Wasteland from a group called 10 Years. I've looked for the tab but can't find it, and my ear is having trouble with the downtuned guitar parts. Any ideas on where to find tab for this thing?

My wife's pretty cool about the guitar playing. However, my attempts at vocals and harmonica result in loud giggle sessions in the adjoining room.

+1 We're one of the very few schools in Illinois that is in session today. We get out an hour early, but I'm not doing anything this afternoon. The kids don't want to work, and neither do I.

I never thought I'd turn into one of those people who hangs out with his friends on the computer, but here I am, typing instead of working!
