  1. Here are a few I did myself (with CHEAP guitars)
  2. Beautiful.
  3. I buy stuff there now and then and the Marilyn Manson kids that work and shop there look at me funny (i'm 38)
  4. If you have a Hot Topic or FYE around there, they have a little. There are a bunch of sellers on Ebay too if you search there.
  5. Different to say the least. http://cgi.ebay.com/Hamer-Artist-Guitar-w-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  6. Nothing is bad enough to kill yourself over. And I mean NOTHING. If you have a death wish, join the National Guard, Marines, Army or move to Detroit.
  7. Ace Frehley Dave Mustaine Marty Friedman James Hetfield Kurt Vanderhoof - Metal Church Michael Schenker Mattias Jabs (spelling?) Wolf Hoffman
  8. These are some of my favorites Megadeth Metallica - pre St. Anger Pantera Audioslave Soundgarden Avenged Sevenfold Disturbed Slipknot Creed Guns N Roses Shinedown Foo Fighters FullDevilJacket Atreyu In Flames Red Hot Chili Peppers Offspring Pink Floyd Queensryche Accept The Tea Party Cranberries Def Leppard - High and Dry album Black Sabbath - I prefer the Ronnie James Dio stuff
  9. Wow. Nice looking joint there. The sign looks great.
  10. There's a problem with the first song. Sammy says "my Les Paul in your face" but he is playing what looks like a Kramer? Thought it was a Charvel/Jackson but the headstock looks Kramer.
  11. I just watched the first song so far but definitely gonna watch the rest now. Just wanted to say that was a freakin kick ass awesome rendition of There's Only One Way to Rock. Wow, indeed. Thanks.
  12. I'd rather listen to just about anything than the top 40 SHIT. I swear, I must have heard that Nickelback song "photograph" about 1000 times already. In my defense, I listen to that 105.5 channel in the morning because they have easy contests to win and, the best station, 106.9 (Heavy Metal), doesn't come very well until you drive about 10 miles north of here.
  13. That's "Art" LMAO What a butt ugly guitar! And the Pickguard is GAY.
  14. I kinda like The Darkness. I don't care for Justin's vocals but I like the guitar and I like His Sparkle Silver, Flame Inlay Les Paul. One Way Ticket to Hell.........and back is a pretty catchy name for their latest. I like it. The band itself seem fruitier than a picnic basket.
  15. Thanks yeah those are reasonably priced too. Wasn't aware they had those. Should be good for my BIG brother's Christmas present.
  16. Hey there Elduave. You wouldn't happen to sell Hamer T-Shirts there would ya?
  17. A cool show and a CD from Mattb.
  18. Seeins how I have mostly Koreans, um yes, pickup swapping happens frequently.
  19. Doh. No. But I did get a close look at those, pardon me, ugly Parker guitars he has hanging by the door. I wish Ron's still carried Hamer. That's my favorite place to go messin around. I'll give them a plug anytime.
  20. Looks cool. 25 minutes from here. I'll have to check that out sometime before I move. Possibly this weekend. It will be after payday so who knows what might happen.
  21. Ok. So I went to Alpha Audioworks. Nice place. They had an Artist and a couple of Studios which were very nice. Lots of G&L's and Godin's in there. And Dammmm Mystic is a busy town. Stinkin pedestrians all over the damned place. Scored 200 points in 1 crosswalk alone.
  22. You guys are gonna get me in trouble. Just kidding. I think I might just do that tomorrow. They're in Mystic, yeah that's a short trip from here.
  23. Well Ricardo's in Waterford is um.....ok. A bit pricey on almost everything. I picked up a set of D'addario XL9s while I was there only because they were marked 50% off (they were still 5 dollars after that). Good selection of band instruments. Had a real good price on an Armstrong open hole flute (600 bux). Might put a bug in grama's ear on that one. Guitars: Limited selection, mostly Ibanez and Mexifenders and Squiers. Had some decent smaller amps in there.
  24. Didn't mean to get an argument started. I have never stepped foot in a Guitar Center since I've never lived close enough to one to do so. If there was one close enough I would and I would judge for myself just how fair or unfair it was. There are 3 dealers close up here that I have an opinion about because I have actually shopped there: Caruso Music in New London - Sucks. Unfriendly, unwilling to deal, don't seem to have much time for the customer. Carry bottom of the line electrics and top of the line acoustics. Website: http://www.carusomusic.com/ Ebay link http://stores.ebay.com/Caruso-Music-Store_...sQ3amesstQQtZkm Ron's Guitars in Groton - Awesome. Friendly, willing to deal, good prices, great gear. Top to bottom of the line electrics and acoustics. Website: http://www.ronsguitars.com/ Ebay link http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ2...Zronsguitarsinc Music Center of Norwich - Real good. Got a great deal on a Hamer Standard there. Willing to deal and friendly. Decent gear Fenders, Hamers, Schecters. Small place though but nice. Going to check out a new place today called Riccardo's in Waterford. Going for a flute cleaning kit but I saw they had some guitars hanging too. Never know could be worth checking out.
