  1. You guys are gonna get me in trouble. Just kidding. I think I might just do that tomorrow. They're in Mystic, yeah that's a short trip from here.
  2. Well Ricardo's in Waterford is um.....ok. A bit pricey on almost everything. I picked up a set of D'addario XL9s while I was there only because they were marked 50% off (they were still 5 dollars after that). Good selection of band instruments. Had a real good price on an Armstrong open hole flute (600 bux). Might put a bug in grama's ear on that one. Guitars: Limited selection, mostly Ibanez and Mexifenders and Squiers. Had some decent smaller amps in there.
  3. Didn't mean to get an argument started. I have never stepped foot in a Guitar Center since I've never lived close enough to one to do so. If there was one close enough I would and I would judge for myself just how fair or unfair it was. There are 3 dealers close up here that I have an opinion about because I have actually shopped there: Caruso Music in New London - Sucks. Unfriendly, unwilling to deal, don't seem to have much time for the customer. Carry bottom of the line electrics and top of the line acoustics. Website: http://www.carusomusic.com/ Ebay link http://stores.ebay.com/Caruso-Music-Store_...sQ3amesstQQtZkm Ron's Guitars in Groton - Awesome. Friendly, willing to deal, good prices, great gear. Top to bottom of the line electrics and acoustics. Website: http://www.ronsguitars.com/ Ebay link http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ2...Zronsguitarsinc Music Center of Norwich - Real good. Got a great deal on a Hamer Standard there. Willing to deal and friendly. Decent gear Fenders, Hamers, Schecters. Small place though but nice. Going to check out a new place today called Riccardo's in Waterford. Going for a flute cleaning kit but I saw they had some guitars hanging too. Never know could be worth checking out.
  4. Have a good one.
  5. Lol go figure. Closest one to me is an hour drive. That was enough for me not to go.
  6. They're having a 72 hour Green Tag sale this weekend.......advert says at least 50% off on tagged items. "I could take a shit in a box and put a guarantee on it and you'd have a guaranteed piece of shit."
  7. Nice one. I don't care for putting stickers on my guitars. Kinda like bumper stickers.....don't like those either.
  8. GUIT->EQ(KFK)->COMPRESSOR(SURF&TURF)->OD->AMP
  9. That's that one guy with the glasses and the Califuckinfornia shirt I think.
  10. Wow. This thing is huge. Nice flame though. http://cgi.ebay.com/Ultra-Rare-Hamer-USA-C...1QQcmdZViewItem
  11. And their Drummer sucks. And no Bass. And no Cowbell. I gotta have more cowbell.
  12. Wolf Hoffman Matthias Jabs Mick Thompson
  13. Very sorry to hear that. Condolences.
  14. Hey, Is that Cold Heat any good? I almost got one but bought a Weller Plug in gun instead. Nevermind. I read the rest of the posts.
  15. Anything they play on the top 40 station I listen to at 620 am every morning. They have contests at that time that are usually easy to win. Then I put in seether, stone sour or audioslave usually as of late. BTW.....some R & B guy actually remade Extreme's "More than words" and it is in rotation heavy now......LMAO.
  16. This is my cat (Buddy) when he is on heroin
  17. Classic. Billy Madison.
  18. Not guitar players but definitely under the influence and looked a mess. Last time I saw Layne Staley was MTV Unplugged which was a kick ass concert but if you saw it, you would notice that he opened his eyes maybe once the entire concert. He's dead now of course. I have everything by Alice In Chains even the EP's and it was sad for me to hear that he died. Have you seen Scot Weiland lately? He's lucky to be alive right now.
  19. That quilt is freakin beautiful.
  20. In Flames............Heavy with a hint of Korn influence.
  21. all my chords are weird......i think it's a personal problem
  22. Starcaster LOL I'm thinking those are worth about as much as a bullet or an affinity squier.
  23. They might be trying to grab the "impulse buyers"?
