I had a luthier when I lived in New London, CT. His name is Ken Nash. I took my guitars to him for setups. Super nice guy and reasonable prices. He had a very small shop.
I took guitar in high school. What a complete waste of time that was. Later in life, self taught. No expert by far but fairly happy with where I am now.
About a minute but first time I heard this I was a teenager hanging out with my pothead friend. It was awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5yR5XhCIeg About 40 seconds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6c9Le-TGZtk
I've always liked Jerry and his songs. I just don't like William as much as Layne. Layne's vocals were outstanding and complimented Jerry's. I feel the same way about AC-DC. I much prefer the Bon Scott version. I had an original cassette recording of Mad Season Above. Good album.
I was glad to see them beat out Mumford and Sons and Coldplay for rock. I wouldn't classify those two as rock but whatever. I would have liked to have seen Megadeth or Mastodon take one home though.
Best year of getting out of the damned house. 4 NFL games, 1 WWE wrestling event, Slash/Ozzy concert, Brad Paisley Concert, 1 Wild Adventures Amusement Park and lots of fishing.
