  1. I get a little bit of radio on my amp but only when it's powering down.
  2. I was watching CMT Crossroads Taylor Swift and Def Leppard with my wife a while back. She's into country so yeah. I pointed out Vivian to her and told her he used to play with Dio and Whitesnake and she couldn't believe it.
  3. Only MattB. Got to see his band play.
  4. Thanks Just wanted to make sure I was interpreting that correctly.
  5. 645567 is the number on my Studio Is this a 96 or 06? and 45567th guitar to be numbered? Hows that work?
  6. Nice one.
  7. Bass guitar - many strings. Used thusly; There is a cool page about the hamer 12'vers here, just look for Basses on the left, then scroll to the Hamers. Lots of ccol customs shown; http://www.12stringbass.net/ Z Is that Jeff Ament? If so, I had no idea he had a Hamer.
  8. This worked well for me in an insurance matter a few years ago: https://odr.bbb.org/odrweb/public/getstarted.aspx?siteID=113
  9. Some kick ass pics of the Eclipse. Leaves nothing to question. Wow. Good luck.
  10. I saw Chuck Berry at a car show in Cincinnati back in had to be around 1980-1983. I remember him forgetting lyrics and accidentally running songs together.
  11. Talk about old lol Dreamer Deceiver Rocka Rolla
  12. Beatles - Abbey Road Pink Floyd - The Wall
  13. Not at all, sorry. Just making a joke, albeit a lame one, I was just going to say cool if you were. Signalmen and Quartermasters (like me) used to work closely together until the Navy just combined them into one rating.
  14. I agree the vocals were, well, um "beatles like". The miracles they made with the tape recorders left us all in awe as kids though. Dude. I cant believe your in Kingsland.. Stop in an give us a shout next time your up this way near Savannah. My shops at I-95 exit 90. Rock 105 in Jax has always kicked butt. I pass through there about twice a month. Once on my way home and then on the way back to Portsmouth. I'll stop in there one of these times....Scubamarket.com. Agreed Rock 105 kicks butt. Took the wife to Planetfest last year. It was a great time. Hard to beat 25 dollars a piece for an all day festival with Shinedown, Hinder, Puddle of Mudd, Red, Red Jump Suit Apparatus, Rehab and a bunch of others.
  15. Since I've been making some road trips between Portsmouth, VA and Kingsland, GA I've found a few music stations worth listening to. Rock, Classic Rock and so on. I used to hate Boston when I was a teenager because I really just didn't like the guy's voice but in the car with nothing better to do, when their songs would come on I started listening to the music they were playing and sort of tuning out the vocals. Those guys were really good. Nice and tight and some great melodies. Hmmm. Weird, I actually like them now. Ha.
  16. Inspiration: Randy Rhoads, Vivian Campbell, Matthias Jabs, Ace, Dave Murry/Adrian Smith, Hetfield/Hammet, Mustaine, Marty Friedman, although I'm no where near that. Influence: What I'm alot closer to is Billie Joe Armstrong, Noodles, Barry Stock, Paul Phillips, Dan Donegan.
  17. I thought Robert Plant was just hogging the mic but I could be wrong. Dave Grohl is awesome. Before I forget, Radiohead (2 of 'em + marching band) where awsome too. Pervis Jackson RIP! My problem is, I didn't watch the whole thing and when I first turned to it, they were doing a "tribute" to Dean Martin that appeared to featured Kanye West, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, some pregnant lady, and another rapper whose name escapes me That kind of negatively biased me to everything else I saw (which was admittedly, not much). -Austin That was T.I. who currently is doing a reality show because he was up on federal gun charges for machine guns and silencers. Anyway, you get 4 guys with huge egos like that together and they try to outdo each other. End result=crap.
  18. The newest Slipknot album All Hope Is Gone is great. If you're put off by the gimmicky masks, etc, you should give it a try anyway. Great riffs, lots of drums, great vocals ranging from melodic to growl. Their music is all over the place on this album. The Stone Sour influence is apparent.
  19. Great Album and Video I wore them both out years ago.
  20. If you post a picture, I'm sure you'd get an ID immediately.
