  6. Gibson 2007 Guitar of the week (Week 15) Les Paul GT in Fire Engine Red in absolutely superb condition, plays a dream and sustains for ever. Limited run of 400. I have put red tortoiseshell scratch plate and back plates on it and the original mirror ones will be in the case. All paperwork and dual truss rod key, case is as new and will be packed in original Gibson box. Weighs around 9.5 lbs, 50's neck, medium jumbo frets on ebony fret board. I'm getting major gas for a Musicman Reflex with trem and will do a straight trade subject to condition. This guitar is a little heavy for me and after using the Newport I'm having trouble lifting the GT up off its stand. Old age is a terrible thing. Cash sale I'm looking for 1350 GBP and will include transport in Europe. I will put it on eBay next Thursday at 1375 GBP plus transport. Splittable pups and gain boost so you don't lose any gain when you roll back the volume. Grover locking tuners, locking tune o matic bridge and stop bar. Neutrik locking jack socket. No fret ware, no dents or scratches but some polishing swirls. PayPal accepted or bank transfer. Week 15 - Les Paul GT The feature-laden Les Paul GT blazes in brilliant Fire Engine Red, but without the ghosted flames of the original. Locking metal button Grover tuners, TonePros bridge, and Neutrik locking input jack are just some of the hot features on this road-ready guitar. 490R and 498T humbuckers deliver crushing tone. 10. Congratulations Brent that is a real score and yes natural it has to be. Look forward to seeing it in its full glory
  11. Ditto on the Virtuoso but to be honest if the lacquer is poly it really doesn't need polish just a wipe off.
  12. Just checking my number  hmmm damn newbies and spammers.
  13. I have the distinct feeling you guys are being a little modest here

  15. I currently have six guitars and only recently discovered Hamer. To cut a long story short I did a straight trade on a Gibson LP Standard 2007 for a Hamer Talladega Custom. Ist time in my life I feel that I really won out on a deal. Owned and played Gibson, Tom Anderson, Fender Custom Shop and Gretsch Pro series. The Hamer is without any doubt the best guitar in quality that I have ever owned. My main go to guitar before I got the Hamer was my Duesenberg which I am now interested in trading in for a Monaco 111. Oh and I have no brand loyalty whatsoever but the low pricing on used USA Hamer's makes them irresistible. Like someone has said bad for sellers but great for buyers. It does beg the question why does such a high quality guitar take such a hammering on its used value? Not complaining as I am looking for another one but I can only assume that the brand name is almost unknown to many and certainly not helped by the cheaper far east versions. No not being a snob but perhaps the brand Hamer is more widely associated with guitars made in the far east rather than those being made in the USA. If anyone in Europe has a Monaco 111 or knows someone who has one who would like to do a trade for a mint Duesenberg TV Starplayer Outlaw then please PM me.
  16. Thanks for the nice compliment and I'm sure you will. After over 50 years of trying to play guitar I really should play a lot better than I do
