  1. relly loved the tone! Are theese stock pickups?
  2. and I could make some use of Neck one!
  3. could be one of mine too. If not P90s... But killer looks for sure!
  4. OH. MY. GOD... Look at Angus moves at 0:25. She is doing that on HIGH HEELS. Unbelievable. But air guitar is not a keeper stuff. They could use other camera angle to hide this Suprised myself to find that it sounded not as bad as I have expected
  5. Heard Black Hole Sun remake in kind of ragtime style. Nearly puked. Not sure who did it though.
  6. seller just got 350$ offer.
  7. heeeeeeellllll yeeeeeessss!
  8. finally some pics:
  9. thanks god its over! Glad to hear you made it safe
  10. give me some time with pics - need to get to good light conditions, otherwise will be waist of time...
  11. thanks! Polara - you will have an excuse for sure, I will be looking for bound and crowned Studio ps. wood grain in this Monaco is amazing... can't stop watching
  12. yyyyyyyaaaaaaaayyyyyy! Today finally got Monaco Elite Mahogany bought on this forum... Must say was expecting quality guitar, but was again shattered by Hamer USA quality. It is as sweet as it can get, and Vintage Orange color is a killer - in fact photos on the phorum really didn't help selling - it looked like...um... just another guitar. In person its just a flashy rock machine, which catches eye and heart. i have restrung it to my fav snake oils 10-48s, did minimal setup adjustments and was amazed how comfortable is to play on this instrument. everything feels so right. And it sounds really great with loaded DiMarzios (Virtual PAFs I guess), I had no time to drive to studio to crank my JCM800, but at home on little amp it sounded very well. This thread is worthless without pics, but I need to wait for next weekend to go to my parents place and wait for clouds to cover direct sunlight. Otherwise it makes no sense - the top is gorgeus too, and I'd love to show you guys it in full flash thats it for the moment. More impressions next week when I'll visit studio p.s. if anyone is planning to sell WCR Fillmores, let me know. Zebra, double cream or chrome covered are ok. This guitar needs 'em
  13. added to my bands friends. Really dug the tunes. actually HFC is packed with talents - I have only recently found polara's band's CD he left in my acoustic's case and must say was listening with pleasure in my car until my wife took it from me
  14. thats difficult to make up - I've got this Diablo only few months ago
  15. some photos of mine, for comparison:
  16. huh, compared guitar with the picture - wood grain matches quite well (as far as I can see in this resolution). And the funniest thing - when looking at floyd rose, intonation tuners stands exactly in a way as I got the guitar - low E up, others all way down. Actually remember that well just because I did floyd intonation setup only week ago, and found that screws holding intonation block where loose If that guitar cuold speak
  17. got an answer from publisher that the picture came from artwork people and they have no idea what is that guitar on the cover. Case closed with no resolution
  18. mathman - many thanks! Emailed them, lets see. Actually it doesn't look to me like import diablo - my USA has identical black faced headstock...
  19. no clues? here is the picture. To me it looks 100% like the Diablo I got from LadyScary...
  20. I was reading latest issue of Guitar Player and my eyes caught an ad of guitar instrumentals compilation called The Dream of the Electric Guitars, Volume 1. What struck me - the guitar on the cover looks like Hamer Diablo, and it looks identical to one I own (remember LadyScary was selling burst Diablo with birds eye maple neck?)... I was trying to find any contacts of the publisher but no luck so far. What the jury of the board will say - is that really burst Diablo? Any clues how to contact the publisher to get info what was the guitar on the cover? Now I'm really curios to get the info here is the link to the album cover art (click to enlarge the cover art): The Dream of the Electric Guitars Volume 1
  21. many thanks everyone here are couple more from the same gig. First song was our soundcheck - you can see me turning knobs on the amp from time to time
  22. yes yes! I have missed the sentence that this is tribute to the bravery and big heart of polara! and thanks for good word I really love the guitar - it gives me really amazing feeling when I put it on. Unfortunately I save it only for gigs where we play on good time slot or there are safe conditions for keeping it - I can't risk loosing it
  23. 'twas a good gig, despite of being terribly cold - after Riffy was brought back home that night, in the morning pitch was up by 1/4 tone! here is video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xu6Nt8V3gyY ...damit, I LOVE that guitar!
  24. take it for 150$, and sell it to me for HFC approved price
