mathman Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 There are some threads about this. I saw them a year ago August and he had recently bought it. Thread here: 1 Quote
cmatthes Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Pat bought that bass a few miles from me at the legendary Atomic Music earlier this year. It was THRASHED, and it came with a rickety Epiphone case. They sold it to him for @$1,100, as I recall, and he picked it up in person. Elduave and I were up there on Saturday and were joking about that. 2 Quote
LucSulla Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 I wish Eddie hadn't been such a mess when Gary joined VH. I think that lineup had a ton of possibilities that Cherone never really had a chance to take a swing at. 2 1 Quote
mathman Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 On one of the running with a dwizzle episodes they basically said Eddie wanted to do that album his way, and Cherone just did it as he was told. these are great podcasts for any VH fans. 1 Quote

After listening to the And The Podcast Will Rock (excellent VH podcast in the mode of MCChris's Pod Of Thunder) and a bootleg from the VHIII tour, I'm more convinced than ever that Eddie was the issue w/that album, not Gary. Gary gets the blame because he was the change. 1 Quote
Jakeboy Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 Cherone is great, IMO. I dig his work with Perry, too. Old vids of him live with VH show that he is not the problem at all. Quote
