McT51 Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Hey guys, I would like to buy a lightweight Hamer T51. Extra points for originality and would like a rosewood board but open to maple. Condition doesn't matter as long as everything works. - Thanks, Ian 2 Quote

cmatthes Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 There's usually a reason they don't list the weights on those... 1 2 Quote
stobro Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 What's considered light for a T-51? I have one (not currently for sale) that's 8.5lbs. Boat anchor? Feather? Quote

I think what’s considered light for a T-51 also depends on if it’s an ash body one or a later alder body one? I believe my 96’ T51F is likely alder and is a good 3/4 pound lighter than my ash body 94’ T51 (7.75 lbs vs 8.5 lbs). 1 Quote
