Someone just posted about this on the EBMM forum. Some Reverb Store called "Klezmer - Jerusalem Branch" opened an account and within hours had dozens of Brand New EBMM guitars listed, with pictures lifted from other websites, including some that were only available at specific stores.  I would be very suspicious of any seller without a history, and also using google image search to look for photos can help.

I got dinged years ago chasing down a Gibson 50th Anniv. SG Diablo w/ Floyd, though it was not on Reverb. "Severely pissed off" didn't quite cover my state of mind after that con became apparent. Ironically, a few months later, I eventually found a legit one on Reverb, residing in the UK, that I bought.

Sounds to me like AI-enabled scamming.  Instead of uploading your scam listings one by one, put an AI assistant in charge and let it sling them out.

The video guy makes an attempt at pointing out red flags, which are no doubt useful today and may continue to be, but in a spy-vs-spy environment the scammers will find out what gives them away and change it.  It will always be a buyer beware world.

Not gonna lie but yeah, I find his voice and commentary annoying, and just find his stuff to be excessively click bait oriented. Thankfully there are lots of other interesting Youtube channels to watch that are guitar gear oriented.that deliver reviews and such that are much more interesting.

I don't watch most of it, yeah, his voice and boredom. I thought this video had some value though.

I'm going to watch that.  Some of you might have seen the post I made about a possible buyer scammer about a week ago.  Just a few days later I got another one.  Some person with zero sales or purchases so therefore zero feedback offering $50 less than full price on a $3500 guitar.  That makes no sense.  I declined his offer and told him why it was because of him having no Reverb history.  I never got a response.  I few days later I went to check to make sure I had declined the offer correctly and re-read my message to him and all of it was gone.  His offer, my response, everything.  My guess is Reverb identified the account as a scammer and deleted everything.

I got one from here, actually two. First one was when I was looking for an EQ pedal. Someone PMd me a bunch of nonsense and said only Venmo, no PP or anything I would have recourse on. I deleted that one. Then recently I got an email notification that someone had sent me a PM here. All my PMs also go to my email address in the settings page so that was normal. What isn't normal is that when I came here to read the PM, it had vanished. I never saw it so possibly an admin saw it was a scam. Or possibly software in the system caught it. I would never have known I got it had I not had the notifications sent to my email. Here is a screenshot:
