Most have 24 frets, chambered body’s. My local shop used to be a Gibson dealer when these were new. They did some limited run 22 frets guitars.

I am not a gibby expert, but I think there was an initial run in the 90s and then a reissue about 2002-2005or6.

Only bc a friend had an initial one and it came up when the second wave happened and I was already all in on Hamers.

It’s a great set of specs, but can’t touch Artists and Duotones for me. Not sure if both runs had belly cuts.

It's a good guitar, the 24 fret fretboard throws off the neck pickup out of the sweet spot, kinda nasley

Mine's straight up Les Paul.  It's a 120th Anniversary made in 2014.  Traditional thickness to the body (earlier ones were a little thinner).  And no 24 frets.

I paid a little less than that for mine and I think mine's worth more because of the Anniversary moniker.

The guitar has grown on me.  I do miss separate volumes and tones, but it's not a deal breaker.

If it's a Les Paul scale with 24 frets, that's a no go for me.  I have the most killer PRS Santana I and I just can't get used to the scale.  It's for sale.

I recall reading that the 24 fret PRS guitars had a similar tonality.
