iownit4 Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 I just got a 2006 les paul custom - custom shop ebony with gold mint ,the guitar is new !!!with box all paper work .The neck is too fat for me ..50's neck .. wanted to ask here before it goes to ebay ...the guitar was $3100.00 from guitar center NJ , I like to get $2700.00 I there is any interest let me no I will post pics ..I didn't take it out of the box ,since I brought it home ...

Why did you buy it if the neck was too big for you? Just curious.
iownit4 Posted May 19, 2006 Author Posted May 19, 2006 I had a LP custom stolen from my auto ,and my insurance company replaced the guitar for me ..I had no choice !! I figured it would be thinner neck

black magic Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 I believe the newer Customs have at least the 1959 neck and some of the older ones had the thinner 1960`s neck for a while if I am not mistaken, but I have heard some guys say some of the older ones had way thinner necks? I would love to have it, but no cash :-( Jack.

I would love to have it, but no cash :-( Jack. I have a 95 Limited Edition Custom that the neck seems not quite 50's but not quite 60's....kinda somewhere in the middle??

Imiss85 Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 My guess would be homeowners. Most Auto insurance won't pay for anything taken or damaged that isn't bolted to the car.
iownit4 Posted May 22, 2006 Author Posted May 22, 2006 Yes it was my home owners insurance State Farm .My cay was right in front of my house they stole my navagation system ,my cd's and I forgot to take my les paul custom out of my back seat !!! ...They covered everything ,
