cswilder Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 On the block is a 2001 Standard in a darkburst type color. It's a really great sounding guitar that I'm tempted to keep, but I already have a Historic R7 so it seems redundant. It's got its fair share of dings, pick swirls, and back worming so consider it a player. It's all stock. The neck would probably be considered the 50s carve. It's chunky, but not quite as much so as the R7. The pickguard has never been installed and is included in the case along with the "Standard" truss-rod cover. The original brown/pink lined case in good condition is included. It's set up with .010s and plays very well. Fret wear is minimal. It weighs 9.25 lbs on my digital scale. Cash sale is $1450 shipped in the lower 48. Paypal is cool if you pick up the fee. Trade interests include: Nash or other Relic Tele Hamers Any vintage amp or guitar Just about anything of equal value that might catch my interest so shoot me an email. Email for a full set of pics.

cswilder Posted July 23, 2006 Author Posted July 23, 2006 Sweet color!! Does it have stock Grovers? Jack. Thanks. Yes, it has stock Grovers.
black magic Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Oh man!! I have been wanting a nice Standard with the 50`s neck and Grovers for a along time. The timing is alll wrong or.......... Good luck bro, she is nice. Jack.
srvwannab Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I always liked the Grovers better as well. The move back to "authentic" tuners on the LP Standards was not a step in the right direction. Chris is Aces and the guitar looks like a great player.
black magic Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I totally agree, this LP has all the desireables in my book bro!! Jack.
