I had a trans black stop tail AT-1 that kicked ass. The Armstrong pups have a very unique sound that isn't for everyone, but I liked it. I put a set of Duncans...I think it was a Jazz and a Custom 5 in it and it was a monster. The blank ebony boards on these are stunning.

I had a PC-1 and to this day it is one of the very few guitars that I regret selling.

I will agree, that black AT-1T was nice. When I had it, they were close, but I preferred this one slightly more. I also had a 4x2 of this model in the same trans blue, but tonally this one was quite a bit better and nicer looking to boot. BTW, the pickups in her right now are Duncan JB and 59 with black bobbins. I will include the chrome Armstrongs as well.

Do you have more pics of the AT-1?

its more blue than the pics show. My old camera really exagerated reds. The guitars in killer shape:)

I passed on a similar model a few years ago. It had a TOM and exposed duncans with a coil push/pull. It was a great guitar. I think it had a set neck though. ANyone know what model that was?

They made a model that was very similar to the AT-1 but was a neck through and had a blank rosewood board...same body and headstock. I had one, but cant remember the name of the guitar...it was also short scale, the AT-1s are 25.5 I believe.

the at-1's are nice guitars.

i had one but had to get rid of it cause the neck was like a baseball bat.

my old at-1 had 59er and jb pickups in it and sounded remarkably like a les paul.

Danhops...was that you I traded with? I can't remember...

Anyway...just in case an HFCer is a bit put off by the sellers lack of posts, he has been a member of the Jackson forum for a long time and is a straight up guy. No worries here...
