1987 Steve Stevens 2 Custom Custom FS

1987 SS2 totally custom Custom, with tons of features I've never seen before or only seen once or twice anywhere else...Was going to list it on fleabay this week, but figured I'd toss it here quickly first.

Cool features include:

-three SINGLE COIL sized OBL humbuckers

-four mini switches (one each on/off for the pickups and one master kill switch)

-bound headstock

-blended heel

-black sparkle finish with matching headstock

-10 crown inlay with custom inlaid crown at 12th fret.

-multi-ply binding on the fingerboard and headstock(!)

I have a photo of this from the Hamer shop in 1987 taken by an employee who thought it was a particularly cool guitar while it was being built-I'll include a copy of that if anyone is interested. Guitar has some clearcoat issues on the back of the neck (doesn't bother me, but if I was inclined, I'd relaquer the clear on the back of the neck or sand it off to natural) and one clearcoat mark on the front. Rest of the finish is in good shape. It's been sitting in the case for two years or so because I don't play Floyd Rose guitars at all anymore, so it will need a setup. W/OHSC.

Again, not sure about value, but other than LEDs, this one has it all. Email me offers before saturday-that's when I'm going to list it if it doesn't go here first (won't have an opportunity to take more pics before that, so that's the only hold up). Thanks!

My other SS2 has a bound headstock, but not multi-ply LP Custom style like this one does!

I'm actually looking at a Jazzmaster. I'm full up w/Line6. Just to earn the undying respect of every tube snob out there!
